Rural Chapel United Methodist Church, located in Galena, OH, believes in the power of prayer.
With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray. (Ephesians 6:18-19)
Prayer requests for needs and joys can be submitted by leaving a comment below. You may submit prayer requests anonymously, if you wish – God will know your identity. He will embrace you in His loving arms. Comments may be moderated in order to assure the safety and peace of those for whom we pray. A new prayer post will be added each week.
Please join us on Facebook on Sundays at 10 AM for a virtual service so we can stay connected during the pandemic. Thank you and God bless you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
I ask for prayers for my friend Dave, who just got out of the hospital with a respiratory infection; they sent him home to recover because he does not have the coronavirus and they don’t want him to catch it. My brother, Marc, lives in Maryland and is sheltering in place alone (luckily, he has pets to keep him company). Continued prayers for my husband, who works at the James Cancer Center, and for his colleagues who are continuing to work very long hours serving cancer patients. Please lift up our teachers and administrators, who are scrambling to figure out what a temporary normal is supposed to look like for our kids right now. Also, lift up the parents who are doing their best to love their kids unconditionally and keep everybody safe during the pressures of staying at home together.
