Rural Chapel United Methodist Church, located in Galena, OH, believes in the power of prayer.
With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray. (Ephesians 6:18-19)
Prayer requests for needs and joys can be submitted by leaving a comment below. You may submit prayer requests anonymously, if you wish – God will know your identity. He will embrace you in His loving arms. Comments may be moderated in order to assure the safety and peace of those for whom we pray. A new prayer post will be added each week.
Please join us on Facebook on Sundays at 10 AM for a virtual service so we can stay connected during the pandemic. Thank you and God bless you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
If you could pray for my mother’s health. And for God to protect all of our world’s health, to lift this Coronavirus. Our elected officials to make wise and correct decisions. Amen!
Thank you, Kay

Jeff, I have lifted these up in prayer. Would you like for our church to lift these up in prayer during our Facebook livecast on Sunday?

Gratitude for the teachers who are working from home during these confusing times to continue educating our kids. Gratitude for the school food service workers preparing meals for needy kids at home. Extreme gratitude to all of the pastors and church staffs and volunteers who are working their tails off finding new ways to reach us so we can be reminded of how much God loves us and that Christ is the reason we are not alone. Prayers that I will feel the Easter spirit strongly even though I can’t be with my church community in person (I miss all of you so much!). Prayers for continued good health for my husband, who is an essential hospital worker, and for my mom. And prayers for the jumble of other things in my head that I just can’t separate out right now – but God sees my heart and knows those things anyway.
